In 2010 the business expanded with M-TEC Group, a stand-alone design and engineering center in Coventry.\r\n        <\/p>\r\n        <p class=\"case-study-section-text\">\r\n          Today the team includes 50 program managers, lead engineers, designers and support staff. Their work takes ideas from sketch through to production. In the early years though, most file sharing happened over email or FTP. \u201cOne of our global customers introduced us to MX during a complex program,\u201d recalls Stephen Hanson. \u201cThey gave us access to a branded version of MX, a secure, browser-based system that could handle large files of any format. Hanson explains, \u201cOur CAD designers work with lead engineers who review and validate models. Responsibility sits with everyone, so both designers and leads can raise a transfer request. It\u2019s simple to administer and straightforward to use. Even though we have VPN connections with some larger OEMs, we still depend heavily on MX.
